Terms and Conditions
PAYMENT
50% of the cost of the rental is required at the time of reservation. The balance of the rental is payable 45 days prior to the start date of the stay.
When the reservation is made less than 45 days before the start date of the stay, full payment is required.
Please note that your reservation will be confirmed once the deposit is received.
SECURITY DEPOSIT
A refundable security deposit of $1000 is required and is payable 48 hours prior to the start date of the stay.
TAXES
The following taxes are applicable to the total amount of the rental:
Quebec lodging tax of 3.5%
5% GST
9.975% QST
HOLIDAYS
Please note that a minimum of 3 days of rental is required for weekends that coincide with a holiday.
MINIMUM AGE
The person making the reservation must be over 25 years old and be present during the entire stay.
LIST OF VISITORS
Please note that Chalet XO Tremblant is on a private property which requires the name of each visitor. The list of names will be requested 48 hours prior to arrival.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY
The basic occupancy of the cottage is for 10 people and the maximum occupancy of the cottage is 12 people. ALL VISITORS MUST LEAVE THE PREMISES BEFORE 23:00.
If the maximum occupancy is not respected a fee will be deducted from the security deposit.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
This is a non-contact reception. That being said, random in-person supervision may be done during the stay.
Arrival time: 6pm
Departure time: 11am
Please note that exterior cameras are located at the front and back entrances of the property.
SMOKING
The XO Tremblant chalet is non-smoking.
PETS
Pets are not allowed. A fine of $250 will be deducted from the security deposit, if the presence of pets is confirmed during your stay, and you will be charged for any damage/cleaning caused by the presence of pets.
SPA
As part of the spa maintenance, the spa technician may visit the spa without prior notice to perform maintenance and ensure the quality of the water.
CANCELLATION
Any cancellation must be made by written notice to the Landlord (by email). In the event of a cancellation, a fee of $125 will be deducted from the initial deposit.
If notice of cancellation is received more than 45 days prior to the start date of the stay, the 50% deposit will be returned to the tenant less the $125 fee.
If the cancellation is received less than 45 days prior to the start date of the stay, the initial 50% deposit will be retained by the Landlord, and the remainder of the rental fee and the security deposit will be returned to the Tenant.
If the cancellation is made 30 days before the start date of the stay, the Tenant will be required to pay the full amount of the rental, except for the security deposit for breakage and damage, which will be returned to him.
